RED & LIME GREEN
Volcanic and Crystalline Fire of Hawaii's Big Island

Above is a photo of Halemaumau (hall-ee-ma-ow-ma-ow) -- the crater said to be the residence of Pele (pay-lee), the "lady of the pit" or Fire Goddess on the Big Island of Hawaii's active volcano, Kilauea. O'hi'a lehua (oh-hee-a lay-hu-a) is an indigenous Hawaiian tree in the Myrtaceae family, which grows on the slopes of Kilauea. The red flowers of the O'hi'a tree resemble the volcanic eruptions in the land of its birth. When red hot lava flows cool, lime green Peridot gemstones are formed in the lava as a type of crystalline fire or by-product of the red hot volcanic forces.

O'hi'a lehua Flower Essence (Red)

ohi'alehuaO'HI'A LEHUA (Metrosideros polymorpha) is one of the most sacred trees in the world. O'hi'a lehua is the first life form to sprout directly out of hardened lava flows formed by volcanic eruptions. The surreal landscape on the way to Volcano National Park on the Big Island is dotted with bright green lehua trees, decked with fire blossoms, cropping out of vast black lava flows for as far as the eye can see. One Hawaiian legend says that it was the over-lighting spirit of the Ohi'a lehua tree, Ho'poe (ho-po-ee), who taught the first dance of the Hawaiian hula to a little sister of Pele.

O'hi'a lehua Flower Essence -- The description of how this tree grows and blossoms out of fire forces gives a good picture of its effect as a flower essence. Taken internally, lehua fills you with strong, passionate inward fire to grow, bloom and rejoice in life. Anything standing in your way that seems too hard for you to break through, cracks and gives birth through lehua's regenerative forces. Activating the Liver meridian, lehua helps you envision your future and propel you into this new creation of your own making.

RED -- Full of passion and power, the color Red gives you physical strength. Just putting on a red sweater makes you feel stronger. The color of your blood, Red has "iron" in it. Its nature is "hot," giving you will power to stand up and DO; a little bit goes a long way, so when you're ready for warmth and personal power, Red is a good color for you.

Sparking deep feelings of love in your heart, Red vibrational elixirs increase circulation as they warm and ground your energy for action in the world. In countries like England, where color healing is accepted as a medical specialty, Red colored light is used to help those with chronic exhaustion to promote health, strength and vitality for every organ in the body. Ruby gemstone is another resonant vibration to use in combination with O'hi'a lehua flower essence. Ruby gem elixir's energetic action begins in the core of the body, filling it with a dense, warm red light that then moves out around the body, becoming a still, impenetrable shield of protection.

Peridot Gem Elixir (Lime Green)

peridotPERIDOT -- Much of the lava rock on the Hawaiian Islands is studded with tiny crystals of Peridot. As the product of new earth formed by an active volcano, sparkling lime green Peridot carries the transformational energy of the new feminine forces on the planet. Imagine orange/red/magenta and gold molten fire, rising like fireworks from a volcano. As it spills over, lava flows down the mountain to the sea. As the lava cools, tiny pieces of liquid fire solidify as Peridot. You can collect these pieces of the volcano's densified fire on green sand beaches at the base of the volcano. If lime green crystalline fire sounds good to you, you might benefit from this stone being used as a gem elixir.

LIME -- Lime is one of the new colors that is arising in human consciousness and beginning to impact the human body at the cellular level, along with magenta, purple, carmine and turquoise. New varieties of these colors began showing up in the physical light spectrum in about 2001. One of the world's foremost color healing specialists, Dinshah Ghadiali, says that Lime is the color to use for cleansing the body of chronic toxicity, and often the first color to use in light therapy for an initial purification of your system.

Lime is an angelic healing color. Some of the images that came to group members in my Colored Light Clinics on viewing LIME colored light in a darkened room were: butterflies weaving light filaments; the connecting wire between a computer and printer; the silk thread inside a butterfly cocoon. Lime is an enabling color; the angelic or butterfly aspect of this color is that your intention is required to activate it. For instance, grace is activated when you intend to cleanse your body. This grace is sent on the wings of the cleansing color of lime as a gift from the light itself, as cellular renewal is imprinted into your system. When you want to help cleanse yourself as well as others, it is through the process of using your intention to witness light in others that this natural purification process of lime is activated.
