I’ve been instructed to use the White Pansy essence I’ve made for dealing with issues of trust. Since I arrogantly expect my clients to use the essences I recommend, I concluded I needed to listen to my own guidance and take the suggestion.
What’s the deal with trust? Why is it so hard to trust that things will work out and the Divine will take care of things when we are faced with tough circumstances that, logically, would make no sense for us to trust in the good?
Day one of taking White Pansy flower essence. I felt my bitter thoughts rise to the surface. I had reason not to trust. I had a long list created in the past few years. Spirit tells me that I often take on others’ faults that are not my own. This makes no sense to me or why this message is relevant to trusting.
Day two. I was journaling like a crazy-flowing pen nut. Insights rose alongside the nasty bitter thoughts. I wasn’t feeling Miss Spiritual at that moment. Not Miss Positive or the teacher I came here to be. It was ugly — I was releasing. Read the rest of this entry »

By Deborah Bier, PhD, Maker of the Whole Energy Essences, and Publisher & Co-Editor of this Publication
In late 1995, I was guided to prepare myself to make a new essence during each full moon in 1996. That is, to capture through the essence-making process the energies of the moon, planets, asteroids and stars for a moment during the moon’s fullness. There would be a total of 13 essences made, one for each full moon of the year. (Only 12 are available commercially….I would later find out that the first one was intended to be a “practice” session and it would be replaced by the last one of the year, which was in the same astrological sign, thereby completing the set.)
This proved to be some of the most lovely, sweet, gentle, and magical essence-making I’ve ever experienced. I even felt thrilled going outside to make an essence near midnight on a winter’s evening that was -15 degrees Fahrenheit. Well, both thrilled AND chilled. I have always felt very at home with the moon…happy to see her…smiled upon by her. I felt totally fulfilled and content being asked to perform this service.

Fear of being performing before unfamiliar people is a problem I have been battling with personally all my life. My family and friends were surprised when I revealed this about myself. This is because I have either managed to overcome the extremes of this condition, or I have been able to ‘mask’ it. I hope it is the former.
Throughout my childhood, adolescence and early twenties, I was frightened to death of ‘performance’ situations, and would do anything and everything to avoid them. When there was no running away from it, I was so traumatized I would inevitably perform badly, and the fear and humiliation would send me into shock and withdrawal. Read the rest of this entry »

Vibration Editor, Donna Cunningham, says: Auntie Moon, one of my favorite bloggers, does a great job, day in and day out, of charting the phases of the Moon and inspiring us to make uplifting and productive use of them. When she posted this simple method of helping ourselves make better use of the Moon’s monthly and yearly cycles, I had to ask her to share it with Vibration’s readers.
I’d been wanting to make some Moon Water for a while and kept putting it off for no reason other than I just haven’t done it. Interestingly enough, when the inspiration took a strong hold on me, the Sun and Moon just happened to be in my natal signs.
Maybe you’ll want to try this for yourself. First, I’ll explain basic Moon Water and then move on to Moon Waters prepared specifically for you.
What is Moon Water?
Nothing other than water left out under the Moon. Usually done during a Full Moon, Moon Water is said to take on the qualities of the Full Moon’s sign ~ it’s ”charged” by the Moon. You simply draw a container of water, place a covering over it to keep the ickies out, and leave it under the Full Moon. (Sounds a bit like making Sun Tea, right?) Bring it in the next morning, and there’s your Moon Water.

Here is another instructive set of essence videos by essence maker and educator, Lila Devi, a frequent contributor to Vibration Magazine. She presents a series of 20 videos, one for each of the essences in the Spirit-in-Nature (formerly Masters’ Essences) line, plus one on flower essences in general. (We would embed one of these videos here in this blog post, but WordPress is giving us fits and just won’t cooperate today.) Read the rest of this entry »

Have you seen the 14 videos on YouTube by Healing Herbs devoted to the Bach remedies? See the entire list here: http://www.youtube.com/user/DrBachHealingHerbs
All but two of these are devoted to Bach’s “Twelve Healers”: Agrimony, Centaury, Cerato, Chicory (photo at right), Celmatis, Gentian, Impatiens, Mimulus, Rock Rose, Scleranthus, Vervain, Water Violet. They show the plant and its flowers in nature and at different stages of development. Each features Julian Barnard, world renowned Bach expert, in conversation with Nickie Murray. Two more are about how the essences are made, and about how they are used.

Just when we thought we had seen it all — all the many confusions about what vibrational and flowers essences are and are not — we have been proven wrong. We marvel that there are still new ways to think they are something else!
As all of us who use or make vibrational and flower essences know, they are not essential oils/scented as used in aromatherapy; nor are they flavorings for food, such as vanilla extract. Now we have to assert that they are also not energy drinks!
We believe this confusion comes from our constant harping on the fact that essences do not contain the physical parts of whatever they’re made from — they only contain energy. Thus the email we received recently. Read the rest of this entry »

Fatigue, chronic tension, and stress make it hard to enjoy life. The flower remedies, such as those by Bach or the The Flower Essence Society, can help release an emotional and physical backlog and learn new ways of coping with life’s demands.
Nothing can rob people of the zest for life like unrelenting fatigue. It is important to note that exhaustion may have many medical causes. These include chronic infection or systemic viruses, cardiac or pulmonary insufficiency, or adrenal exhaustion, which can come from constant stress or caffeine abuse.
Deep fatigue can also be a symptom of either chronic or acute depression. It is important for the individual to have a checkup to ascertain if fatigue is due to a medical condition or clinical depression and to follow up on any required treatment.
Flower essences are not a substitute for necessary health care exercise, and proper diet, all of which have salutary effects on exhaustion.

Tree Frog Farm Essences E-newsletter, May, 2011
Making Hawthorn Tree Essence was one of my most challenging and exciting essence making experiences. The process took about two months with vigilance, surrender, patience, intensity, focused clear intention and curiosity.
Since we don’t have a mature hawthorn growing on our property, first I had to find the location. The year before, I found a thicket of Hawthorn on San Juan Island about two hours away from here. I considered this, but decided to look for some on Lummi Island.
I found two on a nature preserve but they were old, shaded out and not very healthy. I found some others growing along a dirt road, but wasn’t sure if the owners of the property would agree to let me work there.
