For over 10 years, the World Wide Essence Society (mother organization of this ezine) offered a wonderful service available to the international essence community: an online resource guide. We listed essence practitioners and educators from all over the world -- at no cost to them. We also listed essence manufacturers and retailers at a very small annual cost. Full contact information and a brief description accompanied every listing.
So popular did this resource prove to be, that we just couldn't keep up with it. Adding new listings, updating old ones -- the requests have come in fast and furious. People around the world have come to know that Vibration Magazine is THE place for this type of information. As a result, it has become all too much for our all-volunteer staff.
Victims of our own success, we therefore announce we will be discontinuing the resource guide service, starting immediately. It's been a great 10+ years, and we are enormously encouraged by the difference our resource guide has made in raising the prominence of vibrational and flower essences throughout the world. But given that we started the guide before most practitioners and makers had their own websites -- and now most do -- we feel we are not so much leaving a void, as giving way to the vibrancy that has grown online.
We encourage readers looking for essence resources to continue to read Vibration Magazine, because it is in there they will find practitioners, educators, makers, and authors writing about the very topics they're looking for. Many of them have consulting practices, or can make a referral to a colleague who does.
