Staying Afloat in a Sea of Change (a telephone conference panel discussion with Q&A)
Saturday, June 12, 2004
5 PM (Eastern), 2 PM (Pacific)
Donna Cunningham, Daniel Mapel, Deborah Bier and Connie
Barrett
$10.00 (this will be a long-distance number so toll charges may apply through your telephone provider)
Like it or not, the essence of life is change. Sometimes we initiate and structure
it to unfold at our own pace. At other times, it seems to take control before
we know it's arrived. Regardless of the way change enters our lives, our
response is critical. When we allow it, our lives can be enriched. When
we resist it, change, instead of transforming, can destroy.
Vibrational and flower essences are marvelous tools to help us move
gracefully into and through change, allowing its transformational
powers to be unleashed in positive and amazing ways. This
telephone conference call will present new ways to look at change and
transformation within ourselves, others, our communities, and the
planet. Concrete, practical strategies for using and choosing essences to
initiate, smooth and ease change will be discussed.
In celebration of Vibration Magazine's 6th anniversary, join four of
our frequent contributors in a lively telephone panel discussion
followed by a question-and-answer period from the audience. Donna
Cunningham is Vibration's Co-Editor and an internationally
respected essence educator, writer, and astrologer. Daniel Mapel is
maker of the Wild Earth Animal Essences, and teaches about them all
over the world. Deborah Bier is the maker of Whole Energy
Essences, a wellness counselor, and Co-Editor of Vibration. Connie
Barrett is an essence practitioner, teacher and writer, and owner of
Beyond the Rainbow, an online shop offering transformational tools.
Questions for the panel to answer will be received by email only to wwes@essences.com; you are encouraged to send your question in advance.
The conference phone number will be sent to you upon payment and registration (click on box above). This event is a fund-raiser to support Vibration Magazine, an all-volunteer, free publication.
Fine-Tuning Bach Flower Remedy Selection (an online class)
June 5, 12, 19, 26, 2004 (4 consecutive Saturdays)
2-3:30 PM (Eastern), 11 AM-12:30 PM (Pacific)
Connie Barrett
$135.00
In this online class, we will go beyond superficial descriptions of Bach
Flower Remedies to make in-depth distinctions between remedies in a way
that entertains while it teaches.
Speaking of a previous class, a student said: "The class helped me in so
many ways. I feel so much more adept at working with the essences
because of it. Your real-life examples clarified the essence
prescriptions so beautifully -- thank you for that!. . . . Sometimes a
person just can't get the whole picture from reading only -- sometimes
interaction with a teacher is necessary. I'll be forever grateful."
While the course follows an outline, the online interaction often leads
to spontaneous conversations and discoveries that enrich our
understanding of the remedies. This class is for you, and your specific
concerns and questions will be addressed and discussed.
We will bring the essences to life in a spirit of fun and creativity by
using
improvisational techniques. Each student will have at least one chance
to act out the characteristics of a Bach Flower Remedy personality type
while interacting with another.
Before this online class starts, the instructor will give you a private
consultation by email and select one primary Remedy for you to take
during the course of the class. You will also learn methods, such as
journaling and dream work, to enhance your experience of the Remedy.
Course materials will include selected readings from Vibration
Magazine and from a book the instructor is writing about Bach Flower
Remedies. This class is appropriate for anyone with some knowledge of
Bach Flower Remedies.
Connie Barrett is a frequent contributor to Vibration Magazine, originator of
three popular email courses teaching the use of essences and
crystals, and editor of
Rainbow Reflections and Living with Crystals, email publications from
Beyond the
Rainbow.
