By Deborah Bier, PhD, co-Editor of Vibration
If it's Spring in the northern hemisphere, that means many things. First, that those of us still standing have made it through another Winter. And that it's now time to do Winter clean-up -- today I started raking out my flower beds here in Concord, Massachusetts...a bit late, but better than never. After a long winter with record snowfall, it feels utterly life-renewing to have warm sun and green grass again.
Spring also means that Vibration Magazine is another year older: SEVEN now, to be exact. My Co-Editor, Donna Cunningham, and I laugh to think WE ARE BOTH STILL AT IT -- the half-life of most newsletters being about a year. Who knows what the half-life of an ezine is? But certainly, very few have turned seven years old! We're both shocked and grateful...very, very grateful.
For me, Vibration has expanded my world in many delightful and unexpected ways. I'm bowled by the delight I've experienced in helping create our 40 past issues. The beautiful artwork we use, our fascinating and knowledgable authors, their wise words and varying points of view. Donna and I have been inspired to improve Vibration -- we hope each new issue is even better than the last. Professionally, Vibration has become far more than I could ever have imagined.
Personally, I feel I've gained even more. I've learned about healing
tools from our readers and authors. Of course, they appear just when I need them for myself or a loved one. Time and time again, I've experienced an enormous sense of "flow" as I've worked on this ezine. That unselfconscious sense of "being at one" is vital for wellbeing, and an absolute proof I am doing what I was meant to do.
I've also met people I have felt destined to meet through this ezine -- some of whom have become cherished friends and colleagues. We learn, teach, write, edit, create art, expand our imaginations and laugh together. We listen to each others' sorrows, support one another's growth and applaud each others' accomplishments. How lucky I feel to be a part of this.
So, it's time for another year of thanks: thanks to our authors, artists and teachers. Thanks to our readers, fans and students. Thanks for beauty of Nature which we feel closer to than ever after these seven years of writing about and illutrating. And I give thanks for the mysteries of Creation and the Creator...some of which I get to touch through this publication.

Are you an essence lover? An essence consumer? A newbie? An old hand? Do you use essences in your professional practice? Are you an essence maker? We need articles from and for all these types of readers!
If you are interested in contributing something to this ezine, please see our writer's guidelines.
We are interested in any topic that interests you. Here is one we have in mind for a future issue, but don't feel limited by it: Essences and Friendship. This would include essences that nurture healthy friendships. Essences to help you through a broken friendship. An essence you consider a "friend" because you come back to it again and again...etc. Use your imagination and feel free to bounce your ideas off of us!
