  • Gold is considered a Master Healer and can help with many problems, including many on the physical and neurological levels. It also helps with debilitating emotional conditions, both for animals and for humans. Adding Gold essence to combinations of other essences, either flower or crystal essences, or combinations of both, is said to have an enhancing effect on the medicinal properties of the blend. In this respect, it is said to be similar to the flower essence Lotus, which many claim enhances other flower essences and can address a great many ills.

On the emotional level, animals suffering from conditions of chronic fearfulness, poor confidence, anger, and hostility can be helped with Gold. Gold is used in homeopathy (as the remedy Aurum metallicum) to help cure severe depression and suicidal tendencies in humans. Either homeopathically or as a subtle-energy mineral essence, it can be used in the same way for depression in animals.

Animal depression can occur for many reasons, including physical illness, so it is a good idea to consult with the vet if your animal seems depressed for a long time. Outside of physical causes, however, depression is frequently seen in horses, dogs and other species that have been poorly treated by previous owners. Gold will act to open the heart chakra if it is shut as a result of maltreatment or neglect, and so any animal that has thus come to resent, mistrust, and fear humans can be helped to return to a harmonious rapport with their carers and people in general.
