We're not fans of freebies. In fact one of us, who prefers to remain nameless, is less than
receptive to "free" offers when telemarketers call.
Sez she, just prior to slamming down the phone, "If it's free, I can't afford it." She means
that most free offers wind up costing a bundle, if only in time spent recycling the
magazines or junk they send you. Likewise, free offers on the internet all too often seem to net little more than
a fresh torrent of spam that takes persistent effort to get rid of.
Still, as we began searching the net for material for this special issue about
intention, affirmations, visualizations, and goal setting, we kept running into surprisingly good
free material like ebooks. When downloaded, some of them did turn out to have five or six pages of commercials
for the author's services before you got to the meat of the ebook -- but they were still quite
worthwhile, educational, and useful once you got past that introductory section.
It seemed that, after all, these metaphysical practitioners might be more concerned about educating
the internet community about these important healing tools than about building their own practice.
Altruistic, even! Why not -- after all, Vibration has been free from the start, and we now
have close to 350 articles in our archives.
We therefore present, with a degree of hesitancy, some of the
better free offerings we found on the net. We present them for educational purposes only, and
the usual Vibration Magazine disclaimers apply here -- and then some. With a couple of exceptions, we do not know these people personally, have no idea
how skilled they are, and are *NOT* recommending their work sight unseen. You must listen to and respect your
own inner promptings as to whether any given practitioner, service, email list, or product
is right for you at this time. In general, be wary of any web page that purports to be spiritual, but
that contains no biographical information about the individuals you are dealing with.
