The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past,
not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate troubles, but to live in
the present moment wisely and earnestly. -- Buddha

Recent scientific research has demonstrated that the world is not static, and the forces of human intention and perception influence reality as much as geophysical and cosmological forces do. What does this mean in the spiritual realm? It corroborates the sayings that "energy follows your intentions" and "you can intentionally create your reality."
"Perception" is a creative force, empowered through visualization,
knowing, and intention. "Visualization" is a way to use imagination to gain
intuitive insight, with imagery serving as the language of intuition.
"Knowing" provides the insight to see through the filtering screen of
thoughts, images, and feelings to the formless context of knowledge.
"Intention" is a deliberate decision to create. It is premeditated; it is
planned. Intention is not a fleeting thought. It is not a wish, hope, or
worry. It is a decision, made with purpose, to produce something. It is a
force unto itself. When your awareness is focused during intentional meditation practice,
you are operating from a place of fluidity, effectiveness, and calm assurance.
You are truly smarter because you generate a state of mind in which
your intellectual analysis of a situation is combined with acute sensory
perception and creative intuition.
The alchemy of spirit is in a state of rapid expansion. Through eons of
development, we have evolved human bodies that now include the
subtle system of energy anatomy. Human evolution is characterized and
limited by the penetration of spirit into dense body matter. Spirituality
is defined as the feelings, thoughts, experiences, and behaviors that arise
from a search for that which is generally considered sacred or holy.
Spirituality
is usually, though not universally, considered to involve a sense
of connection with an absolute, immanent, or transcendent spiritual
force, however named, as well as the conviction that meaning, value,
direction, and purpose are valid aspects of the universe.
Consciousness is
the capacity to react to, attend to, and be aware of self and other. Consciousness
subsumes all categories of experience, including perception,
cognition, intuition, instinct, will, and emotion, at all levels. The more
spirit that is present in body matter, the higher is the consciousness of
the entity. The entity applies that consciousness, through its focused
intentionality, in the various acts of daily life. Through the practice
of intentional meditation, transformational changes occur in both the
body and spirit.
Meditation practice alters your vision, both physically and spiritually.
Ocular vision requires more than a functioning physical organ (the eyes).
Without an inner light, we are blind. As Arthur Zajonc says, "The light
of the mind must flow into and marry with the light of nature to bring
forth a world" -- a world that becomes our reality. So it is with all of
our five physical senses. Whatever our current reality is, and whatever
meaning we attribute to it, it can be altered by changing the focus of our
attention and intention, thereby changing our life.
Begin to notice how your friends, co-workers and family respond to you when you are intentionally affirming positive and loving thoughts. This is the power of human alchemy in real life. To illustrate this point here is a story from a thirty-year-old second-year Intuition Medicine practitioner who had a dramatic experience when intentionally expanding his aura. At 5 feet tall and 120
pounds, he is a small-statured Cirque du Soleil performer, but he has a
huge, charismatic aura. Here is his power of intention story:
In 2002, I was meditating before a show for the NBA Sacramento Kings'
opening season. I set my intention to expand my aura to touch the capacity
crowd of fans in Arco Arena. After the show, the promoters told me
that they had never seen anything transpire between an audience and a
performer like they had just witnessed. All the fans in the stadium were
silent during my act, and when I took my final bow at the end, the
silence broke into screaming pandemonium. I couldn't believe that I had
expanded my aura; I really did feel like I touched all of the 17,613 fans in
the audience.
Intention coupled with meditation practice moves us to encompass expanded vistas of reality. During meditation practice, many people begin to experience light
within. This seems to be the seed kernel that brings light to and develops the energy body
into a more advanced organ, which begins to perceive and thus interact with
reality beyond the physical world. With practice, sensitivity to the intuitive
world develops. We are each living transformation systems. We are truly spiritualizing matter.
Intuitive perception has heightened in relationship to the morphological
changes in our human systems. Those of us who are attuned to spiritual
alchemy find in the evolving nature of spirit within matter an
invitation to communicate to a larger audience about the mystical nature
of human beings -- aspects of ourselves that have mostly been shared in
secret societies and codified in symbols. It is time for initiation into the
birthright of the language of intuition. Intention Meditation practice is the initiation
ritual. Spiritual wisdom is found in the quiet, still "now" of meditation. Your human alchemy is the power to create your own reality with intention.
